SC-ID Taps Former Symbol, Checkpoint Executive as President
Marianne McKeown O'Brien Brings Extensive Enterprise Mobility & Auto ID Industry Experience
ANNAPOLIS, MD April 17,2007 — SC-ID, LLC, a leading provider of mobile productivity solutions, announced the appointment of Marianne McKeown O'Brien to the position of President, effective immediately.
Ms. O'Brien's career in the Auto ID industry spans decades. Most recently, she served as Vice President and General Manager of the Retail Solutions unit of Checkpoint Systems, Inc. Her responsibilities included strategic development, operations, field service and sales for the North America market.
Prior to Checkpoint, Ms. O'Brien spent 17 years at Symbol Technologies (now Motorola Enterprise Mobility Solutions) in a variety of key positions, including Vice President of Retail Vertical Marketing and Vice President of Business Development. In addition, she managed Symbol's retail business in the Northeast for over nine years, where she achieved double-digit growth annually.
